The Eagles have started unveiling dates for their upcoming road trip.  The first eleven stops on the group's "History of the Eagles" tour are concentrated in the Northeast and Midwest, starting with a show in Louisville, Kentucky on July 6th.

With the trek the Eagles are promoting their new two-part documentary, "History of the Eagles," which will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray on April 30th.  The band is expected to perform hits spanning their lengthy career, as well as some of their individual solo material.

Other surprises might be in store as well.  Earlier this year Don Henley told Philadelphia's WMGK that "at least one former band member" would be involved in the tour.  While he didn't name names, he implied it would be either Bernie Leadon or Randy Meisner, not Don Felder.  And while the Eagles have gone on "farewell" tours before, Henley said this year's trek "could very well be" the last one for the group.
