Fans can now watch last year's all-star concert honoring the late Levon Helm at home.
"Love For Levon" is arriving in stores today in a variety of different formats, including a two-CD set, DVD, and Blu-ray, as well as Digital Audio, HD Video, and combined Digipaks.
Numerous stars took part in last October's event to pay tribute to The Band's drummer, who passed away last April following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Tracks include Allman Brothers Gregg Allman and Warren Haynes performing "Long Black Veil," Garth Hudson and John Prine's rendition of "When I Paint My Masterpiece," and Roger Waters, G.E. Smith, and Morning Jacket teaming up on "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down." Joe Walsh, Bruce Hornsby, John Hiatt, and Mavis Staples are just some of the other stars who also took part in the event.
Money raised from the concert as well as the CD and DVD releases will go to Helm's family to help them continue staging "Midnight Ramble" concerts at Levon's Woodstock, New York studio.
