(New York, NY)  --  New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez is suing Major League Baseball and its commissioner, Bud Selig.  A-Rod claims the league and Selig improperly gathered evidence to destroy his career.  He's seeking damages for what he calls "intentional, malicious conduct."  A-Rod was suspended for more than 200 games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drugs policy.  The "New York Times" reports that the lawsuit doesn't address whether Rodriguez used those banned substances.
