Sometimes a show is more than just a good night out with some friends. In the case of 3 Doors Down, founders of the Better Life Foundation, their concerts – this one included – give back to the community. The Better Life Foundation aims to give as many kids as possible a better life. In the past, they have supported the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Habitat For Humanity and have given assistance to the Gulf Coast area of Mississippi that was heavily affected by Hurricane Katrina.
With hits like “Kryptonite,” which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, 3 Doors Down has been a hard rock favorite since the band’s inception. Their debut album “The Better Life” has gone six times platinum. Albums “Seventeen Days” and “3 Doors Down” both reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
