North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore is expected to appoint members to a school safety committee tomorrow.
The formation of the board comes in response to the deadly school shooting in Florida last week.
The committee will look at school safety measures across the state and get input from law enforcement and school officials concerning safety needs.
The appointments are scheduled to be named in Shelby at 4 p.m. Tuesday
