Kane Brown Teams Up With Khalid And Swae Lee For 'Be Like That'

Kane Brown admits love isn't always easy in his new song, "Be Like That" featuring rapper Swae Lee and R&B artist Khalid.

The track, released on Friday (July 10), finds the artists switching off verses as they sing about someone they love no matter how frustrating the relationship can be at times.

"I might be better on my own / I hate you blowing up my phone / I wish I never met your a** / But sometimes it be like that," the chorus goes, before switching to a more positive lyric. "But I'm not myself the nights you're gone / There ain't no way I'm moving on / I'm not afraid to need you bad / Sometimes it be like that."

"It’s about all the different feelings you can have in a relationship,” Brown said of the song in a recent interview. "And trying not to overthink it. When it gets tough, you want to be on your own, but then you miss the person a second later. I think it’s something everyone goes through."

In addition to "Be Like That" Brown has also recently shared "Cool Again" along with the remix featuring Nelly and a track called "Worldwide Beautiful." Earlier this year he also teamed up with John Legend for a duet called, "Last Time I Say Sorry."year

Several of Brown's recently shared songs will likely be included on his next studio album, which he's hinted at. "We’re working on the album," he said in an interview. "I think we're gonna release an EP first and then the album is coming soon after."
