This is some amazing video of an F-35 fighter jet crashing at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska. We haven't gotten too many specifics on what happened, but the video has caused us to have a whole lot of questions. We do know that the F-35 fighter jet crashed Tuesday at 12:49 p.m. local time, causing "significant aircraft damage". This is according to a statement from the Air Force base. The pilot safely ejected and has been transported to Bassett Army Hospital for further evaluation. When the video starts you can see the pilot under canopy and yet the F-35 is above him. We aren't going to speculate, but we are guessing that doesn't happen too often. Thanks to the camera man who showed us what the ground was doing while the Air Force jet was exploding!
